Erin Van Oordt
Erin grew up in Jenison, Michigan. She attended Unity Christian High School and then continued on to Hope College, where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2010. Erin's journey with Paradise Bound Ministries began in 2006 when she was served on a ministry team with her home church. During that week that Erin felt called to medical missions in Guatemala. She returned to Guatemala in 2007, interned with Paradise Bound during the summers of 2008 and 2009, and spent both her Spring Break and Christmas in Guatemala during 2009. In 2010, recognizing Erin’s gifts and calling from our Lord, Paradise Bound offered her a full time position working primarily in our Medical Clinics, Critical/Long Term Patients, Mission Teams and Discipleship programs. Contact her at email@example.com.
Hermano Jesus—as he is lovingly known to our mission teams—has pastored several churches in his native Guatemala, becoming the full time pastor/evangelist of Paradise Bound in 2003. One of his main privileges is to pray several hours a day, specifically that our Lord would utilize Paradise Bound to win souls unto Himself through each of our many programs. He is our primary evangelist for outreaches and oversees our Discipleship program. He is married with three wonderful daughters.
Estuardo and Noemi Morales
Estuardo Morales began working with Paradise Bound in 2007, and handles a multitude of tasks which include village investigation, staff oversight, vehicle maintenance, financial controller: He is basically Dan’s right hand man! Noemi manages our mission base kitchen, providing meals for our Guatemalan staff as well as the mission teams. Her cooking is the reason most of us are a few pounds heavier each year! Noemi and Estuardo have a son and a daughter, Emanuel and Deborah.
Yohana began working with Paradise Bound helping in the kitchen and cleaning. However, she had always carried a calling in her heart to become a nurse and serve the poor of her native country. With assistance from PBM, Yohana has attained that dream and is now living out her calling within our permanent and mobile medical clinics.
Paulina comes to us from La Bendicion, a very poor village PBM first got to know in 2001 and where we have had a discipleship program underway since 2003. Paulina faithfully helps cleans up after each one of us, especially during our mission teams!
Daniel is one of three caretakers of our mission base grounds. He is married with children and grandchildren.

She is currently training to become a child caregiver instructor, and through that program is interning in various orphanages within Guatemala. Elizabeth and Martin have three children; as a family they are very active in their local church as worship team leaders.
